Snowmen For Libya

Way back in January of 2015, before I had learned much about accessibility and when my design skills were not quite as developed, I built this website. The site was for a charity event that my friend Soad and I organized to raise money for the Red Cross in Libya, where they were experiencing conflict. I designed the snowman graphic with the flags in Adobe Illustrator and pulled together this static site, adding a snow effect, and a navigation banner that travels with the user. I fully admit that this is not the prettiest site in my portfolio, but it has a special place in my heart. I may have tweaked some of the colors to make more accessible than it was, although I kept the spirit of the site.
